IMPORTANT CLIENT VICTORIES TODAY!!#LicenseRestorationThe client ("Jimmy") had a previous history of drinking and driving, and he paid the price, by having his license revoked. For 17 years.Jimmy previously applied for restored driving privileges five different times, through other attorneys, and was unsuccessful each time. Indeed, our own first application together was unsuccessful, and I took it up on appeal. The appeal was granted in part/denied in part, and we were able to “Get a do over”, and now Jimmy has a drivers license, for the first time in 17 years. He will have to prove his worthiness to drive, by having a "breath interlock" device installed in his vehicle.I am confident in Jimmy, not just because he has been sober for 17 years, but he has led others to sobriety, during that time. He is a decent and good man, who now can help his elderly mother, instead of having to continue to rely on her, into her older years. A big win, obviously, for Jimmy & his Mom.#InsuranceFraudInsurance companies are not always the victims of fraud; sometimes they are the ones perpetrating fraud. My client ("George") rear ended another motorist, and predictably, George got sued. He did the right thing, and turned the lawsuit over to his insurance company (whom I will not name here), And they retained a lawyer to defend him, as they were required to do.However, GEORGE'S INSURANCE CO ALSO COUNTER-SUED HIM, for a court declaration that they owed no money and no responsibility to him. They also sued George's sister, a grandmother who lives in the area, because he lived with her. They said they knew nothing about George being on the policy. In any event, THIS INSURANCE COMPANY KNEW BETTER, given that they had taken premium payments directly from my client, and this same insurance company had Georg's VIN#, on the no-fault certificates (which obviously told the ins co, who the title owner of the vehicle was). With a lot of behind-the-scenes work, FRANK LAW FIRM, was able to move the parties toward a settlement, which will make this matter go away.My client can go back to tinkering with engines, while his sister, can play with her grandchildren, knowing that nobody will be coming after her home.If you have questions regarding your rights in accident situation, criminal matters, drivers license restoration matters, or probate,…Call/email Jon Frank 586-727-1900 or email@example.comWhen you need me. In a hugely significant development, the Michigan State Supreme Court ruled that “notice of claim“ provisions (Requiring the filing/service of a notice of intent to file suit) do not bar suit, when the lawsuit itself is filed within the applicable “notice of claim“ timelines. For too many years, our state appellate courts have ruled that these “notice of claim“ provisions provide an automatic “get out of jail free card“, two municipalities who failed to keep their roadways in proper repair……Maybe this will motivate them to update their roadways. www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2022/07/06/supreme-court-lawsuit-injured-motorist-mdot/78...Injured as a result of a defective roadway? Call/email Jon Frank 586-727-1900 or firstname.lastname@example.orgWhen you need me.
