About Hope K. Coots

I am the Administrative Assistant at the Frank Law Firm. I am so excited to be “back in the saddle,” again here at Frank Law Firm after a few years away!   I will be handling the day-to-day operations such as responding to emails, phone messages, distribution of mail, notarizing documents and anything else that will be helpful in the legal needs of the clients of Frank Law Firm.

During my childhood, I was raised in New Haven, MI, and have 5 brothers and 3 sisters.  After I graduated from high school, I was blessed to have “4” wonderful children, i.e. 3 daughters and a son.

After graduating from Sawyer School of Business in 1994, I held several positions; however, my love for people was where I needed to be.  I took a sales position with ADT Securities and achieved my quota and then some per month for several years.

While working for them, I was in a car accident and had to readjust my life by finding a career that didn’t require as much traveling.  This is where I begin my career within the legal field.  In 2002 I accepted a position as a Legal Secretary/Office Manager for the Law Offices of John Kanaras.

I absolutely had found my passion once I settled in there.Since that time, I have held several positions as Legal Secretary/Office Manager in a few different law firms as well as I had obtained employment within the Macomb County Circuit Court File Room, Macomb County Juvenile Court and within MDOC as an Assistant Librarian for the Macomb Regional Facility located in New Haven, MI.

To make a long story very short, I enjoy working within the legal realm and helping individuals with all of their legal needs by way of showing that I understand, I empathize, I sympathize and am willing to go that extra mile so that they know I am a “woman of my word.”

On a personal note, I am married to the most wonderful man, reside in a beautiful country setting located in St. Clair County, MI and have the most gorgeous 11 grandchildren anyone could hope for! I enjoy classic cars, R&B/Motown music, dancing, gardening, singing, playing kickball with my grandchildren, and making lasting memories with “all” of my family.

I am so happy to be working side by side with Jon again and as he said to me when he offered me the position, “I am looking forward to doing our final tour of duty together!” LOL! This is my last stop in my career as the Frank Law Firm is “home,” for me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio.  Have a wonderful day!

Kind Regards,

Hope K. Coots
